Hotel Plitvice was built in the period since 1954. g. to 1957. The project by renowned Croatian architect Marijana Häberleom. At the time he built was the first A category Hotel in Croatia, and beyond, the gamin of the best architectural achievements of the purposes of public buildings built in the postwar period, of Croatian architecture.

It has 51 accommodation units, of which 19 rooms are superior, 12 rooms are standard, 20 rooms are economy and the presidential suite. Room type "Economy" has a French bed (160x200) and a bathroom with shower, room type "Standard" has two twin beds (one 140x200, 100x200 and other), and a bathroom with a bathtub; room type "Superior" is a luxury room with French bed (180x200), bathroom with bath and sitting furniture (sofa for extra bed) and balcony.

All rooms are equipped with a TV set with access to satellite TV, telephone with direct-dial telephone and mini bar.

The hotel has an à la carte restaurant with a capacity of 160 seats, offering food and drinks, the lobby bar with outdoor terrace and TV lounge. The restaurant is suitable for business lunches, dinners and presentations, while TV-lounge provides the possibility of smaller meetings and seminars for 40-50 participants with all necessary technical equipment.
